Spam filters are partially effective to prevent spam mails but users are still under a lot of spam mails.2. Internet and online news are not able to replace newspapers. (Newsweek, in 1995)
A security expert, Clifford Stall criticized that the internet were flooded with a lot of incorrect information and he affirmed no online database could replace your daily newspaper.
However we normally read about the news on the Internet nowadays.3. Internet will collapse. (Robert Metcalfe, a designer of Ethernet, in 1995)
Robert Metcalfe predicted in 1995 that the internet would suffer a "catastrophic collapse" in the following year.
The reality is that Twitter, Facebook, and Gmail are becoming more and more popular around the world.4. There will be nobody that buys something on the web. (Newsweek, in 1995)
