Korean employees' summer holidays

 Employees in Korea cannot use their holidays as freely as other western countries.

Because Korea's culture at work is so oppressive, in the case of some companies, employees cannot get their holidays when they want.

 

In case of our company, summer holidays will be for one week from the last week of July or the first week of August.

Just like our company, most of Korean companies are scheduled to spend their summer holidays at the same period.

In my experience, there were traffic jams wherever we went during summer holiday seasons, every resort was so croweded with people to enjoy their holidays.

 

 

 

As times change, I think that our holiday culture is also changed.

Like western countries, it is time that we can use our own holidays when we want.
