However, a growing number of people avoid eating egg yolks because there is general concern that Cholesterol is not good for health.
It’s important to realize that all most of the nutrients are contained in the yolks while the white contains only protein.
The study of The University of North Carolina shows egg yolks are helpful to prevent breast cancer. I would like to introduce 6 reasons why we should eat egg yolks as well as the white for our health.
1. Egg yolks enable us to intake vitamin D easily.
2. Egg yolks make children to grow taller because they help to absorb Calcium into body and play a role in growing bones.
3. Help to lower Cholesterol in blood
4. Make us to have longer memory. There is an ingredient so called Choline in the egg yolks. It is an important nutrient for the brain.
5. Choline may be especially important for pregnant women. Intaking enough Choline can decrease the risk of giving birth defects. It can promote the development of a fetus’ brain.
6. Protect your eyes. There are two elements in eggs that can have powerful protective effects on the eyes. Both are founded in the yolks.
