Copter crashes into residence building, kills 2 pilots

There was a shocking news that a private helicopter owned by LG crashed into I-Park, 38-story apartment at Samsung-dong in Seoul, at 08:54 a.m on Nov. 16.

According to TV news, the helicopter crashed to 24-26 story of the apartment and then dropped on the flower garden in the apartment. Due to the accident, two pilots on the helicopter lost their life on the spot.

Fortunately, most of the residents were going out or evacuated to a safety zone, so far there was no report that somebody got damaged.

The pilots had not a good view due to heavy fog in the morning and were not able to see the apartment.

I think It requires an accurate investigation to prevent the recurrence of similar accidents. In addition, LG should give generous compensation to the families of the victims.
